JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Credit Management: Develop and enforce effective credit control policies to minimize risks from credit sales. Track accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts

• Collections: Create and implement effective collections strategies, including follow-up protocols, payment plans, and dispute resolution.

• Promoting high-performance culture by leading, mentoring, and develop a team of credit control and collections officers 

• Involve in customer relationship management, establish and maintain strong customer relationships, address customer inquiries and disputes in timely manner 

• Prepare regular reports on collections performance and aging 

• Analyse trends in credit and collections performance, offering actionable insights and recommendations.

• Ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards in credit management and collections.

• Identify potential risks in credit policies 

• Collaborate closely with various departments, including sales and finance, to align credit control initiatives with business goals.

• Participate in cross-functional projects to optimize operations.

   

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance & Accounting, or any related field

• Minimum 3 years of experience in credit control and collections management

• Minimum 1 year of experience in team lead or supervisory role

• Candidate with experience in hire purchase or auto loan will be added advantage 

• Deep knowledge of credit management principles, financial analysis, collection methods, and legal compliance.

• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with customers and colleagues.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to lead and inspire a team, promoting a cooperative work environment.
