Job Title: - Structural Engineer

Job Location: - Delhi

Job Description:

1. General

To List down and track latest IS codes/amendments at regular interval for structural design.

To update standard format for DBR (Design Basis Report) as and when required as s per Latest IS codes.

To monitor the records of structural stability certificates from principal consultant as well as third party consultant for each project master list

1. PROJECT- Before Award of Project

To study tender requirements and list down any special conditions in tender

To prepare QA to be submitted to client in order to clarify any discrepancies in tender design parameter Not clear or Special or Non-standard

To design and estimate quantities for carrying out the estimate.

To prepare sketches for the same with help of CAD operator

1.  PROJECT- After Award of Project @ Detail Design

To prepare the DBR as per design parameters mentioned in project requirements / scope of work.

To highlight to the senior if any design parameter not Mentioned or Not clear or Special or Nonstandard.

To issue DBR to the principal designer once confirmed by senior / client. (Both PEB & Non-PEB)

To check the design drawings / design staad data including connection design & details received from principal designer and to discuss with designer in case of any discrepancy.

To suggest and discuss any value engineering proposal with principal designer & seniors.

Once reviewed, issue the DBR / design data / drawings to third party designer for validation of design & connection details.

Co-ordinate with principal & third-party designer for successful completion of validation work.

1. PROJECT- After Award of Project @ Execution Stage

To review and approve loading points / levels & Connection details.

To approve erection methodology / erection sequence / QA,QC checks etc.. in discussion with project manager & principal designer.

To visit site as and when required.

Desired Candidate: -

1.  Knowledge & Experience in PEB and conventional steel structure design.

2. Knowledge & Experience in RCC structure design (preferred)

3. Knowledge of IS code / American Code
