A Japanese automation company is seeking a J/E bilingual Control Engineer in Lexington, KY.

Salary Range: $65,000-$70,000 or DOE

Skills: Japanese/English Bilingual Skills

OPT holders are also welcome. During the OPT period, you will work at our U.S. office. After the OPT period ends, you will return to our headquarters in Japan until you qualify for an E visa, and then return to the U.S. with the E visa.

Responsibilities:

- Implementation of Industrial Automation Control Systems. 

- Perform a variety of miscellaneous duties as assigned such as PLC programming, schematic design, control panel fabrication, and machine wiring. 

- Customer interactions for scope and specification meetings will be required.

- Participate in sales and marketing activities. 

***Senior staff will provide guidance and training. 

***Paid company training is included with position.

Qualifications: 

- Must be fluent in Japanese and able to communicate in English at a basic conversational level. 

- Bachelor’s degree in any of the following degrees will be considered; 

Automation Engineering

Electrical Engineering

Electrical Engineering Technology

Electromechanical Engineering

Computer Science

Computer Engineering

- OR, Two year degree pertaining specifically to Automation Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience. 

- Interest/knowledge in the automation field which includes robotics, PLC programming, AutoCAD Electrical design, vision systems, data collection, etc.

- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.                                                 

- Must have a flexible schedule and be willing to travel and work outside of KY as required.  Travel is up to 50%.
