The Assistant Manager - Supply Chain will be responsible for managing logistics operations and overseeing supply chain processes in FMCG.

Description

Logistics and 3PL management in Japan:

• Strategic planning and management of 3PL operations such as warehouse and delivery in Japan
• Manage and adjust warehouse operations, such as warehouse operation flow, creation of work instructions, and adjustment of internal needs in terms of packaging and shipping methods, and incorporate them into operations

Project lead related to shipping promotional products and planned products:

• Confirm product specifications and shipping formats for sales plans tailored to each sales channel, and purchase shipping sales materials (printed materials, stickers, gift boxes, etc.) in cooperation with brand marketing and warehouses

Support NPD (New products Development) in collaboration with inside and outside the company

• Support the NPD-related product, package, and raw material procurement process in collaboration with CMO, suppliers, RA/QA, and brand marketing.
• Assemble delivery methods and conduct delivery tests.

A successful Assistant Manager - Supply Chain should have:

• A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• Over 3 years of work experience in the Supply Chain area
• In-warehouse work and 3PL as well as implementation of improvements and cost reductions
• Experience managing numerical values in Excel and using VLOOKUP, IF functions, pivots, etc.
• Fluent Japanese
• FMCG industry preferred
• Behavioral Skills: Proactively find areas for improvement and problems, and proactively solve problems, Openness to build collaborative relationships with partner companies
