An exciting opportunity has arisen in the KYC/Client Onboarding team of a well known FinTech company with a strong Equity business. The role will involve conducting client onboarding process including KYC and anti-social force checks for new clients.

Our client is a global FinTech firm specializing in the equity business. Their specialty is to advanced trading tools, such as multi-functional charts, industry-specific heat maps, and quantitative evaluations, to facilitate informed investment decisions.

Description

• Oversee and execute the process of new client account openings, ensuring compliance with KYC regulations.
• Conduct rigorous due diligence reviews for both new and existing customers as part of our client assessment process.
• Implement suitability evaluations to affirm that client investments align with their profiles and risk preferences.
• Execute JSDA anti-social forces checks to maintain high standards of compliance and uphold industry integrity.
• Collaborate with Legal and compliance Department to continuously update and enhance verification processes.
• Document, analyze, and report findings and take necessary actions in a meticulous and timely manner.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to maintain an expert understanding of regulatory changes and best practices.

The ideal candidate should possess the below qualifications...

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, law, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications are a plus.
• Proficiency in both Japanese and English (written and spoken) is essential.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in securities operations, compliance, or a related financial sector role.
• In-depth knowledge of KYC, regulatory compliance, and suitability assessments.
• Experience with anti-social force checks within the framework of JSDA guidelines is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Exceptional communication skills, both in creating reports and liaising with various stakeholders.
