**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese-speaking Business Analyst to join our team for an exciting application modernization project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in functional domains such as HR, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Wholesale. This role requires an individual who can effectively bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, ensuring that our modernization efforts align with organizational goals.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Collaborate with stakeholders across various functional domains (HR, Legal, Procurement, Finance, Wholesale) to gather and document business requirements.

- Analyze existing systems and processes to identify opportunities for improvement and modernization.

- Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and ensure clear communication between technical teams and business units.

- Develop detailed specifications and user stories for application features and functionalities.

- Work closely with IT teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring the development of solutions that meet stakeholder needs.

- Conduct gap analysis to assess current applications vs. desired functionalities and support the creation of a roadmap for modernization.

- Monitor project progress and provide updates to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 10 + years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in application modernization projects.

- Strong understanding of functional domains: HR, Legal, Procurement, Finance, and Wholesale.

- Fluent in Japanese (written and spoken) and proficient in English.

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a strong emphasis on collaboration.

- Experience in Agile methodologies is a plus.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
