FP&A Analyst

We are seeking an FP&A Analyst/Coordinator to join our Accounting & Finance team. The successful candidate will leverage their skills to provide key financial insights that drive the company's strategic decisions, financial forecasts, and operating plans.

Description

• Provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunities, and other projects as requested.
• Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
• Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
• Support budget and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with management on the development and execution of strategic plans.
• Liaise with the Accounting & Finance department on the financial strategy and its execution.
• Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to senior management.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks related to the financial planning and analysis of the company.

A successful FP&A Analyst/Coordinator should have:

• A degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Prior experience in a similar role in the retail industry.
• Proficiency in financial modeling techniques.
• Strong fluency in English and Japanese.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
• Excellent understanding of financial trends both within the company and general market patterns.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly MS Excel.
