A multinational vehicle manufacturer is seeking an Electronics Buyer. The selected candidate will oversee sourcing strategies, supplier management, and cost optimisation.

A multinational company which manufactures and distributes heavy-duty vehicles. With headquarters in the APAC region, this company has a long history of successful operations in producing commercial vehicle solutions for its customers around the world.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement segment strategies as part of a global commodity network
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimise sourcing activities
• Ensure supplier selections align with segment strategies
• Present supplier recommendations with business cases in Sourcing Boards
• Oversee cost KPIs, P&L, and MCL for assigned segments and suppliers
• Secure sourcing agreements and ensure proper approvals

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above
• More than 3 years of experience in purchasing or negotiation with supplier or customer relationship in auto industry
• Experience in business, engineering, or a relevant domain
• Prior experience in EE part sourcing and development is ideal
• Understanding of financial analysis, cost management, production and supply chain and technology
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Possess valid authorisation to work in Japan or China
• Fluent written and verbal English and Japanese
