採用経緯：新製品開発に必要な人員確保 /Secure the human resources needed for new product development.

ポジション概要
製品設計エンジニアは、顧客である、国内外の自動車メーカー（OEM）、GKNグローバルのメカニカルエンジニアチーム、関連サプライヤーと連携し、GKN AutomotiveのePowertrain製品を開発する仕事です。 近年、OEMから当社の日本のオリジナル製品である「メカニカルLSD」の開発依頼が増加しており、該当プロジェクトに対し、設計プロセスの支援が必要です。

Design engineer is responsible for development GKN Automotive's ePowertrain products, working with OEMs, the GKN Global mechanical engineering team, and suppliers.
Design process support is urgently needed to develop for “Mechanical LSD”, which Japan original products that the product development request is increasing from OEM recently.

Key Responsibilities/業務詳細

• 必要に応じて、GKN の購買およびプロセスの専門家との連携
   
• Perform a role in the Project organization related to the area of specialization.
• Perform design-related development work.
• Produce models and drawings.
• Identify main parameters for product performance.
• Creation of Driveline Standards for global use.
• Documentation of development results.
• Benchmarking of competitor products.
• Evaluation of product performance envelope within the design limits.
• Patent review support.
• Provide input and support for:
• Product specifications
• Concern history
• Product cost analysis
• Work as and when required with GKN purchasing and process specialists.

雇用形態
・正社員
・契約期間の定めなし、60 歳定年
・定年後の再雇用制度あり（65歳まで、1年ごとの嘱託契約）

想定年収（賞与込み）：
Annual Salary (Yen) and Bonus

基本給：30.0万～43.0万（年収：360万円～516万円）（経験、能力に応じて決定）
賞与：基本給の4.0カ月分／年（2024実績）（支給月　7月・12月）
賞与込み想定年収：480万円～688万円　（残業代は除く）

Based Monthly Salary: JPY 300,000 – 430,000
Annual Salary: JPY3.6～5.16m
Bonus :  Based monthly salary x 4.0months (2024 actual)
Total Annual Salary including bonus: JPY 4.80m – 6.88m

勤務時間
8:30～17:20　（時間外勤務あり）
休日：弊社5勤2休カレンダー　
週休2日制（土日）、平日祝日は出勤、GW・夏季休暇、年末年始休暇９～10日あり

※基本は出勤

国内外出張：
本社栃木工場（社有車利用　頻度高）、愛知県常滑工場(数回/年)
客先（年数回～月1回）、サプライヤー（時々）、海外出張（まれにあり　年1回）
平均残業時間：
海外との会議等で残業がある場合はフレックス対応となり、残業は基本０です。
（自宅での会議出席のあとに出社や帰宅後の会議参加等もあり）　
在宅勤務：
開発の都合上、現地現物主義で物を見ながらの会議等が多いため、基本常勤となります。
（参考：当社の在宅勤務制度、諸事情で在宅勤務を行う場合は、基本10日/月まで）
顧客：
日本の各自動車メーカー、海外の自動車メーカー

GKNグローバルチームとのコミュニケーション
英国、ドイツ、イタリア、北欧、北米、アジア（インド、タイ、上海等）

選考面接回数・対応者
１次面接：採用担当マネージャー、人事チーム（日本語）　Teams または対面
最終面接：開発部門上位者＋Global開発チーム（英語）　　Teams または対面

Business trip : Domestic and oversea business trip
Tochigi plant, head office (Enable to use company car, High frequency),
Tokoname plant, Aichi prefecture (Several times/year), 
Visit customer(OEM) (several times/year -Once/month), Oversea trip (Rare, Once/year)

Average overtime work:  basically 0 hour, in case overtime work necessary by global meeting, flex time is used.
Remote work
Need to work at Daikoji office basically, because there are many meeting with actual component confirmation at actual place.

Customer : Japanese OEM and Overseas OEM.
Communication with GKN global team
UK, Germany, Italy, Northern Europe, North America, Asia (India, Thailand, China -Shanghai etc.)

Team member:  Total 5 
(Senior Manager1 / Manager2 /Team member 1 /Agency worker1 )＋new staff
Number of interviews and interviewer
1st time: Line manager, HR team (Japanese), Online Teams or face to face.
Final: Top management of development division and Global development team (English), Teams or face to face.

＞必要な資格，経験　
下記の条件にすべて当てはまる方

• 理工系の高専、大学、大学院卒で、機械／電気／電子／メカトロニクス専攻の方
• 同様の業種での実務経験者（3年以上）
• 自動車業界において、以下の経験・スキルがある方
• パワートレイン部品の開発経験
• 報告書や仕様書の作成（日本語・英語）
• DFMEA（設計故障モード影響解析）の作成（英語・日本語）
• 英語および日本語でのコミュニケーションスキル（中級～上級）
• 海外のGKN拠点（欧州、米国、タイ）と英語での電話会議があります。
• 日本の自動車メーカーの要望を理解し、GKNのグローバル開発チームと連携します。
• グローバルビジネスの経験がある方が望ましい。
• 日本の運転免許証をお持ちの方

Essential Qualifications & Experience

• Qualifications – Master’s in engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics, Mechatronics) / master’s in physics or similar
• Experienced practitioner able to work unsupervised (Over 3 years)
• In automobile Industry, have below experience, skill
  １．Development of powertrain components.  
  ２．Creation of reporting and specification (English and Japanese)
  ３．Creation of DFMEA (English and Japanese)
• Communication skill of business level English and Japanese.
  1. There will be work with GKN location in Europe, USA and Thailand using English. 
  2.  Need to understand Japan OEM requests, and work together with global GKN development division.
  3.  Experience in global business in practical work practice is preferred.
• Driver’s license in Japan
