A manufacturer of CNC Machines is looking for an application engineer (m/f/d) near Frankfurt am Main.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conducting both pre- and post-sales activities such as time studies, test cuts, technical presentations, trouble shooting of issues caused at customer's production, hands-on training for dealers and customers

• Providing technical support for dealers, including both proactive and reactive approach

• Partner with fellow dealers to generate leads by implementing time studies, test cuts and other technical proposals

• Planning and providing technical training for dealers and customers

• Planning and organizing exhibitions and open houses with colleagues

• Researching market demands and feedback to corresponding department

• Reporting own activities weekly and monthly in designated report format

• Visiting customers and dealers to promote machines and to solve issues

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Strong and wide knowledge of Machining Centers, toolings, automation and other relevant aspects

• Hands-on experience on 3 and 5 axis Machining Centers, CNC programming and CAM programming

• Experience in CNC Lathe or Turning Center in an advantage

• Ability to discuss highly technical concepts with prospective leads

• Ability to present and prepare presentations

• Ability to construct hypotheses and deriving logical solutions

• Self-motivated attitude

• Good command of English and willingness to travel across Europe

• Turkish skill is an advantage

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the Machine Tools industry or education/apprenticeship in engineering is preferable
