Process Engineer

Job Descriptions:
- Ensure that all microcircuit assembly processes (wire bonding, epoxy application, and thin-film component placement) are consistently followed and executed according to standard operating procedures (SOP).
- Monitor and track process performance to ensure stability and consistency, proactively addressing any variations or deviations.
- Continuously monitor yield metrics and resolve daily process challenges through comprehensive root cause analysis and implement effective solutions
- Work closely with R&D, Quality, and Operation teams to align on process improvements and resolve issues efficiently.
- Evaluate, optimize, and validate new process technologies to drive continuous improvement and efficiency.
- Actively contribute to operational efforts aimed at achieving best-in-class performance in cost, quality, and delivery.
- Design and implement robust process control measures to ensure the optimal performance of microcircuit assembly processes.
- Perform periodic audits of the assembly processes to identify opportunities for improvements and ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with product development teams (R&D) to assess the manufacturability of new designs and suggest process adjustments as needed for production.
Job Requirements:
- Proficient in microcircuit assembly techniques, equipment, and best practices, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Excellent understanding of microcircuit defect criteria, enabling precise defect detection, classification, and resolution to ensure high-quality standards.
- In-depth understanding of microcircuit fabrication and assembly processes to drive improvements and troubleshoot effectively.
- Proficient in conducting (Design and Process) FMEA to identify potential failure modes and mitigate risks early in the process.
- Expertise in collaborating with design teams to optimize product designs for efficient and cost-effective manufacturing.
- Strong ability to solve complex engineering problems and make informed decisions based on data-driven insights.
- Expert in designing experiments to optimize process parameters.
- Expertise in the RCCA process to systematically identify and resolve underlying issues affecting production quality.
- Proficient in implementing advanced process control techniques to improve product yield and reduce variations.
- Expertise in the integration of automation and robotics into microcircuit assembly to improve productivity and reduce manual errors.
