Position: Service Engineer 

Location:  Bangalore 

Our client is a leading provider of cryocoolers, essential components used in MRI systems to achieve extremely low temperatures. With a 97% global market share in cryocoolers, they pride themselves on innovation and excellence in the medical and industrial sectors.

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Service Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of cryocoolers used in MRI systems. This role requires a keen understanding of mechanical and electrical systems and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.

• Dismantling and Diagnostic Work: Perform dismantling and diagnostic work on cryocoolers to identify and resolve issues.
• Parts Replacement and Assembly: Replace and assemble parts as needed to ensure optimal performance of the cryocoolers.
• Functionality Testing: Conduct functionality tests, with a preference for candidates who possess electronic control skills.
• Shipment Maintenance: Handle maintenance, cleaning, and dispatch of cryocoolers for shipment.
• Client Site Work: Potentially travel to client sites for maintenance and repair work.

Must-Have:

• At least 1 year of work experience as an electrical and mechanical service engineer.
• Expertise or a Bachelor's degree in machinery and equipment.
• Experience working in a Japanese company.
• Basic knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Email, etc.).
• Willingness to travel to Japan for training for approximately one month after joining.

Preferred:

• Experience in air-conditioner maintenance, e.g., at Daikin, Fujitsu General, Mitsubishi Electric.
• Experience handling high-pressure gas.
• Experience in brazing or welding.
• Maintenance experience at companies like Yaskawa, Ebara, or Mitsubishi Electric, which deal with compressors.
