Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled システム要件定義担当者 (System Requirements Definition Specialist) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in system requirements definition, strong communication skills in Japanese, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both local and offshore teams. Knowledge of Java development is also essential as this project may involve Java-side development.

Key Responsibilities:

• システム要件定義 (System Requirements Definition):Utilize business requirements definition documents to create comprehensive system requirements specifications.
• Customer Sessions: Participate in customer sessions with Japanese clients to understand their needs and translate them into system requirements documentation, written in Japanese.
• Documentation Management: Review business requirements definition documents and identify any issues or questions, documenting them in a QA sheet or issue management ledger as needed.
• Issue Resolution: Actively participate in customer sessions to resolve any issues or questions and ensure that they are addressed appropriately.
• System Requirements Documentation: Based on the resolution of issues, create system requirements specifications that accurately capture all necessary details for subsequent stages of the project (e.g., basic design).
• Cross-Phase Participation: Contribute to later phases such as basic design, detailed design, programming, test specifications, and testing.
• Offshore Management: If applicable, take a leading role in managing offshore teams and ensuring effective communication and smooth coordination, particularly during offshore phases of the project.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Client Proximity: Must be able to work alongside Client employees and maintain strong communication within the team.
• Experience in System Requirements Definition: Proven ability to use business requirements documents to define system requirements effectively.
• Fluency in Japanese: Must be able to create system requirements definition documents in Japanese through customer sessions.
• Document Management & Issue Resolution: Experience in reading and interpreting business requirements documents, and the ability to identify and address any ambiguities or issues.
• Technical Understanding: Ability to create detailed specifications and contribute to various project phases, including basic design, detailed design, and testing.
• Java Knowledge: Familiarity with Java development, as this project may involve Java-side development.
• Offshore Management : Ability to manage offshore teams effectively, particularly in coordination and supervision during offshore phases.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual Skills (Japanese and English): Fluency in both Japanese and English is preferred, particularly for managing offshore teams.
• Knowledge of Intra-mart: Familiarity with intra-mart, a platform for business application development, is a plus.
