T&I Lead Manager (Foundations)

Job Description

The T&I Lead Manager (Foundations) is a key technical role that involves overseeing the installation of offshore wind foundation piles and jackets.

• Technical Expertise: Familiar with the offshore environment, understands the risks and practical requirements of delivering T&I.
• Transportation: Plans, prepares and coordinate the transportation for offshore structures working to deliver structures to project site.
• Installation: Manages installation work packages for installation of offshore structures at project sites.  Works with owners engineers and other technical functions to coordinate the surveys/measurement of progress and quality at fabrication yard and project site.
• Project Management: Works with technical teams and suppliers to establish installation approach.
• Leadership: Leads the T&I team for foundations, developing capability and assuring that have the capacity and capability needed at each stage of the project.
• Client Interaction: Communicates with clients, project management, and offshore personnel in order to see the project alignment is on time, cost and quality progress. Identifies risks and brings works with technical advisors/owners engineers as required to develop mitigation plans.
• Quality Assurance: Co-ordinates with the owner's engineer and other technical functions to see that activities comply with project standards in terms of quality, cost, and time.
• Problem-Solving: Understands complex challenges and able to translate them into solutions drawing on technical experts as required to drive outcomes during the procurement process and project execution phases.
• Software Proficiency: May require knowledge of software like AutoCAD, Orcaflex, or Ansys for design and analysis purposes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 10 years of experience in project management, particularly in offshore wind foundation installations.
• Strong technical knowledge of offshore wind foundation piles and jackets.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale transport and installation projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
• Strong leadership skills to guide and manage teams effectively.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with various stakeholders.
• Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
• Knowledge of software like AutoCAD, Orcaflex, or Ansys for design and analysis purposes may be required.
• Both Japanese and English can be used as working languages.

職務内容

T&Iリードマネージャー（基礎）は、洋上風力発電の基礎杭やジャケットの設置を監督する重要な技術的役割を担います。

• 技術的専門知識: 洋上環境に精通し、T&Iのリスクと実際の要件を理解しています。
• 輸送: 洋上構造物の輸送を計画、準備、調整し、プロジェクトサイトへの構造物の納品を行います。

設置: プロジェクトサイトでの洋上構造物の設置作業パッケージを管理します。オーナーズエンジニアや他の技術部門と協力して、製造ヤードやプロジェクトサイトでの進捗と品質の調査/測定を調整します。

• プロジェクト管理: 技術チームやサプライヤーと協力して設置アプローチを確立します。
• リーダーシップ: 基礎のT&Iチームをリードし、各プロジェクト段階で必要な能力とキャパシティを確保します。
• クライアントとのやり取り: クライアント、プロジェクト管理者、洋上のスタッフとコミュニケーションを取り、プロジェクトの進捗が時間、コスト、品質の面で整合していることを確認します。リスクを特定し、必要に応じて技術アドバイザー/オーナーズエンジニアと協力して緩和計画を策定します。
• 品質保証: オーナーズエンジニアや他の技術部門と協力して、活動が品質、コスト、時間の面でプロジェクト基準に準拠していることを確認します。
• 問題解決: 複雑な課題を理解し、必要に応じて技術専門家を活用して調達プロセスやプロジェクト実行段階での成果を導くための解決策に変換することができます。
• ソフトウェアの習熟: 設計および分析目的でAutoCAD、Orcaflex、またはAnsysなどのソフトウェアの知識が必要な場合があります。

資格

• 工学または関連分野の学士号または修士号。
• 洋上風力発電の基礎設置におけるプロジェクト管理の経験が10年以上。
• 洋上風力発電の基礎杭やジャケットに関する強力な技術知識。
• 大規模な輸送および設置プロジェクトの計画、実行、監視を含む管理能力の実績。
• チームを効果的に指導および管理するための強力なリーダーシップスキル。
• 様々な利害関係者と協力するための優れたコミュニケーションおよび調整スキル。
• 問題を迅速かつ効率的に特定し解決する能力。
• 設計および分析目的でAutoCAD、Orcaflex、またはAnsysなどのソフトウェアの知識が必要な場合があります。
• 日本語と英語の両方が業務言語として使用できます。
