A rapidly growing semiconductor industry company in Penang mainland is seeking for a Senior Data Analyst that is proficient in data analytics, integration, and visualization. The role requires a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in various data tools, and excellent communication skills
Job Descriptions:
- Utilize tools like SQL, Tableau, Power BI, SAP Hana Studio, SAP ECC, Microsoft SQL Server, and Snowflake to gather and analyze data from various sources.
- Conduct data analytics and transformation tasks using SQL, Excel, or other relevant tools.
- Work with multiple data sources to create composite views and visuals.
- Identify patterns, trends, and insights in complex data sets, and present findings using visual dashboards.
- Provide guidance on continuous improvement, problem-solving, benchmarking, and solution development across the team.
- Establish, adapt, and adhere to reporting standards for handling data, visuals, and reports within the team.
- Collaborate closely with the team to understand reporting and data visualization needs and iteratively enhance available analytics.
- Foster positive relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Statistics, Engineering, Management Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study (equivalent experience considered)
- More than 4 years of experience as a Business Intelligence and reporting analyst or similar role.
- Proficient in written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in O365, SharePoint, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent.
- Proficient to develop complex SQL custom queries to answer the business problem.
- Experience in SAP Analytics Cloud – Planning (SAC-P) reporting is a plus
