Expected scope in SCTM
・ Business input / output management 
・ Development lead of Offshore Engineers (INDIA)
・ Participation in Customer development meetings (participation in development meetings with suppliers and customers as necessary)
・ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define functional safety requirements for systems and components

Communication and control: Managing the offshore & cross functional coordination at Customer Location (Project Management)
Development lead: Leading the devleopment process and guiding the offshore teams
Delivery time adjustment: Guiding the teams as per project milestones ad responsible for crtical reviews of offshore deliverables

Roles & Responsibility

• Support technical design reviews, business proposal for new programs
• Develop safety concepts, strategies, and mechanisms to address potential hazards and mitigate risks.
• Perform in-depth Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) to identify and prioritize failure modes
• Design and implement safety mechanisms, including fail-safe mechanisms, and diagnostic features
• Create safety documentation, including safety requirements specifications, safety case reports, and technical design documents
• Define and execute safety validation and verification plans to ensure compliance with safety standards and requirements
• Development of test plans, definition of test specifications and test execution
• Interface to Software and Hardware development

Required skill and experience

• 6-10 yrs experience in functional safety engineering, particularly in automotive sector.
• 6-10 yrs experience in automotive embedded SW development
• Familiarity with relevant functional safety standards like ISO 26262 or FMVSS, and their practical application
• Strong Knowledge of ICE, EV and xHEV vehicles systems
• Skilled in hazard analysis, risk assessment, FMEA, and fault tree analysis
• Familiarity with safety requirements, concepts, and mechanisms
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a collaborative team player
• Effective communication skills to manage communication with the different stakeholders of the project.
• Familiarity with ANSYS MEDINI is a plus
• ISO 26262 Functional Safety Professional certification is a plus

N3 skill in Japanese language

English skills (for Japanese) 
Basic technical communication (TOEIC L&R 730+ / TOEFL iBT 80+)
