PR/158133 | Electrical Engineer (Low Voltage Systems)

COMPANY OVERVIEW

A Local Conglomerate that has quickly risen to prominence with a diversified business specialization in Infrastructure and Electrical Power Transmission projects. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implement, and maintain low voltage systems, such as 

1. Communication Systems (telephony, intercoms, structured cabling, LAN/WAN). 

2. Security Systems (CCTV, access control, alarm systems). 

3. Fire Alarm and Detection Systems. 

4. Building Automation Systems (BAS/BMS). 

• Develop electrical wiring diagrams, schematics, and layouts for weak current systems. 

• Manage installation and commissioning of low voltage equipment and systems, ensuring integration with other building systems. 

• Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization. 

• Ensure compliance with local and international codes and standards (e.g., IEC, NEC). 

• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineering disciplines to ensure effective system integration. 

• Prepare technical reports, documentation, and user manuals. 

• Prepare detailed documentation, including system manuals, as-built drawings, wiring diagrams, and maintenance guidelines. 

• Oversee contractors and vendors, ensuring timely project delivery and quality control. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 

• Minimum 3 years of experience working with low voltage or weak current systems (e.g., security, communication, fire detection).

• Strong knowledge in:

  - Communication protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, Modbus, BACnet).

  - Low voltage wiring, cabling, and power supply systems.

  - Integration of building automation, security, and fire alarm systems.

• Able to speak Mandarin.
