The Role:
1.As part of our Applications Development and Solutions （ADS） organization the Senior Application Engineer will provide technical engagement and solutions in Wet Cleaning applications of liquid filtration and purification products. The Senior applications engineer will work closely with new product development groups and co work with critical customers to drive product wins via successful in laboratory and customer evaluations and help solve complex application problems.


In this role you will:
・Develop deep understanding of Entegris purification technology to recommend customer solutions for filtration/purification as part of the global Applications Development and Solutions （ADS） team
・Build and enhance technical relationships with critical customers in Japan and beyond with Field applications Engineers and Account management teams.
・Drive customer engagements with new product evaluations.
・Provide customer feedback and requirements to Entegris product development teams in alignment with the Business Unit （BU） technical and marketing strategies.
・Plan and support the execution of experiments for new technology and product developments related to customer requested design and process conditions.
・Develop novel test methods to demonstrate filter performance in laboratory and relate to customer performance requirements.
・Publish work with internal and external applications notes technical conferences journals
・Mentor /coach global engineering team with customer /process knowledge across teams.
・Support daily lab management activities including managing equipment designs and process development updating lab SOP’s and material planning.
・Co work with cross function business units across the companies.
・Business trip may require 20 25％ of entire work within Japan to customers and working with internal teams in Yonezawa

・Chemical Engineering Chemistry Materials Science or related education and experience required Master’s or Ph.D. degree preferred.
・Strong semiconductor （IDM OEM） experience in Wet Cleaning processes.
・Strong ability to discuss technical challenges with customers and drive towards solutions.
・Excellent problem solving and design of experiment capabilities.
・Detail oriented able to record and analyze data to drive decisions for technical support.
・Strong communication skills within and across global organizations and customers
・Japanese and English languages required（Main customer is in Japan. Internal communication is required with overseas colleague）
