A Local Conglomerate that has quickly risen to prominence with a diversified business specialization in Infrastructure and Electrical Power Transmission projects. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Guide the design and development of fire protection systems, which include sprinklers, fire alarms, smoke control, emergency exits, fire pumps, and gas suppression systems.

• Creating designs, calculations, sketches, and/or diagrams to assist in the prevention or spread of fire 

• Ensure that all project specifications and regulatory requirements are met while overseeing fire protection projects from concept to completion in a timely and cost-effective manner. 

• Perform fire risk assessments for buildings and facilities, identifying potential fire hazards and proposing effective fire protection measures. 

• Ensure that fire protection systems adhere to local and international fire safety regulations and standards, including NFPA, BS, EN, and local codes.. 

• Provide technical guidance and guarantee the delivery of high-quality projects by supervising and mentoring a team of fire protection workers and technicians. 

• Ensure that fire protection systems are properly integrated into building designs by working in conjunction with architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines. 

• Ensure that fire protection systems are installed, tested, and commissioned in accordance with regulatory requirements and design specifications. 

• Ensure the long-term functionality and reliability of fire protection systems by establishing and supervising routine maintenance and inspection schedules. 

• Prepare and evaluate technical specifications, compliance reports, and drawings that pertain to fire protection systems.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. 

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fire protection engineering, with experience managing large-scale fire safety projects. 

• Proficiency in AutoCAD software. 

• Able to speak Mandarin.
