COMPANY OVERVIEW 
One of our clients who is leading global supplier of precision instruments and services recognized as an innovation leader and our solutions are critical in key R&D, quality control, and manufacturing processes for customers in a wide range of industries including life sciences, food, and chemicals. They are looking out for Sourcing Specialist based at Shah Alam who responsible for identifying, evaluating, and engaging potential suppliers or vendors to secure goods, services, or materials needed by an organization.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Collaborate on global sourcing projects, working closely with stakeholders at various levels.
• Partner with GIP Category Managers to identify savings opportunities and manage supplier negotiations and contractual terms.
• Assist in implementing Category Strategies, analyze procurement data, and prepare reports.
• Contribute to policy development, support supply chain projects, and drive process improvements.
• Undertake additional tasks aligned with Global Indirect Procurement Strategy.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related roles in a global setting.
• Proficient in negotiation, contracting, and stakeholder/supplier management across international markets.
• Proactive, self-motivated, with strong financial acumen and analytical skills (Excel proficiency required; SAP knowledge preferred).
• Passionate about negotiation, supplier communication, and achieving favourable outcomes.
• Customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work with early morning or late-night schedules as needed.
• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written).
