PR/157865 | MANAGER - DATA CENTRE SOLUTIONS & PROVISIONING

Our client is an established golbal Data Centre company with 30 years of expertise from Singapore. Currently they are setting up new Data Centre at Johor Bahru. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Manages project and ensures adherence to pre-approved designs and operations procedures.
• Provides strategic guidance and directions to project owners, stakeholders and vendors.
• Prepares Request for Proposal/Quotation (RFPs/RFQs) and other documents required for project budget/estimates/bids/tenders.
• Tracks, presents and reports regular status of projects to business leaders, customers and other stakeholders.
• Liaises and collaborates with stakeholders and Finance team to ensure timely procurement of project packages within budget.
• Updates and maintains all project documentations and contracts for record, retention and audit purpose.
• Performs due diligence in vendor selection and appointment, following by tender/bid interview for all projects.
• Supervises vendors to ensure execution of projects are in accordance with internal requirements and in compliance with contractual obligations.
• Liaises, communicates and collaborates with all internal and external parties to ensure timely commencement and completion of projects.
• Participates in all required training and learning sessions.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• Possess a Degree in Engineering or Business Administration or Marketing with at least 8 years’ change and project management experience in an IT, Telecommunication and/or Data Centre Industry and/or experience involving in projects from the business perspective.
• Good knowledge in Cloud, DC Hosting and related managed services.
• Strong knowledge in local Malaysia building codes and industry , government standards and compliance.
• Experience working in multinational matrix organizations and Malaysia market.
• Computer proficiencies – MS Office and Project, AutoCAD and Revit. 
- Preferably Certified Project Management Professional, Lean Six Sigma or Prince 2.
- Deep knowledge in TIA 942/ Uptime Institute Tier system and frameworks/commissioning standard.
