PR/157864 | APAC REGIONAL FINANCE MANAGER

Our client is an established food manufacturing MNC located in Gelang Patah, Johor Bahru. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• A regional role which leading Finance and IT departments in the APAC region. 

• Report to local GM and to group CFO. 

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting processes, ensuring that all financial information is accurate, timely, and compliant with accounting standards and regulations

• Prepare and post monthly accruals, prepayments and similar accounting entries

• Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual account reconciliations

• Handle of monthly accounting closing.

• Drive the continuous improvement of end-to-end accounting practices

• Monitor cash flow and liquidity to ensure that the company has enough cash on hand to meet its financial obligations

• Working capital management

• Develop and implement financial strategies that align with the organization's goals and objectives includes creating budgets, forecasting future financial performance, and analysing financial statements. 

• Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, including tax laws, financial reporting requirements, and internal control procedures.

• Managing an end-to-end audit process of current systems, liaise with auditors and tax agents.

• Cooperate & liaise with banker, government authority department, tax department, and other stakeholder.

• Master the lifecycle of an e-invoice, from creation and validation, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

  local IT responsibility ensuring local business needs and local IT support is coordinated and taking care of in a close cooperation with Global IT. 

   

  JOB REQUIREMENTS 

• Degree in Accounting, ACCA or its equivalent. 

• More than 10 years experience with 5 years in managerial role. 

• Familiar with ERP system.
