Our client is an established engineering firm located in Gelang Patah, Johor Bahru. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

Responsible for the management, coordination and daily operations of the machine shop and various organizations.
Responsible for managing the daily production of the workshop, monitoring daily changes, and timely changing production targets.
Responsible for managing the remaining materials of the workshop samples, effective storage and recording.
Develop an overall plan for the machine tool department.
Control production change costs and expenses and maintain profit and loss
Ensure the safety, productivity, good factory housekeeping and maintainability of all production machines and equipment in the whole plant.
Review existing work processes and procedures, make improvement suggestions and implement improvement plans, and implement plans.
Ensure that all personnel in the department are fair, competent and complete every task in accordance with laboratory management standards.
Ensure that the team's daily activities comply with QA procedures and standards to manufacture each product to meet standards.
Manage, guide and develop your direct reports to develop and fully utilize their abilities, skills and knowledge and operate as a well-functioning team.
Monitor production quality and cost to ensure good productivity in the team.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 5 years of experience in workshop operation management and machine operation, and management knowledge of at least 15 people in the organization managed.
Experience in CNC milling, CNC Lathe & Surface Grinding is preferred.
Knowledge in metal materials is preferred.
