About the Process Engineer Role: 
The Process Engineer optimizes manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. Key responsibilities include monitoring and troubleshooting processes, implementing improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support production goals. This role is essential to maintaining reliable operations and meeting company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the Manufacturing team to ensure efficient operations within the production area and the achievement of production targets

• Optimize current processes and maintain production goals on an hourly, daily, monthly, and annual basis

• Monitor equipment, machinery, and tools to address issues that impact product quality, yield, or cause non-conformance

• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and R&D teams to integrate new products or processes into the manufacturing environment

• Ensure manufacturing production requirements are met, including utility and engineering support

• Manage projects related to manufacturing equipment design, focusing on delivering high-quality results

• Oversee the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing methods and operations for both new and existing products

• Ensure efficient use of materials, equipment, and personnel to produce high-quality products at optimal operating costs

• Maintain compliance with corporate and divisional policies and procedures

• Initiate and complete technical activities for new or improved products and processes, aligning with company goals and objectives

• Prepare reports, publish findings, and present results to communicate progress and insights

• Collaborate with Engineering on the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance of manufacturing equipment

• Develop, document, and maintain controlled, repeatable production processes and create operating procedures for manufacturing personnel

• Lead and participate in qualification and validation activities, including developing validation protocols

• Work with other departments and suppliers to address and resolve root causes, integrating business policies and procedures into task execution

• Demonstrate an understanding of the company’s business needs and knowledge of customer requirements

• Cultivate a network of internal and external resources to complete tasks effectively.

• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

To succeed as a Process Engineer, develop strong technical skills, embrace data-driven decision-making, and focus on continuous improvement. Effective communication, problem-solving, and adherence to safety and quality standards are also essential for maintaining reliable and efficient operations.

Key Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline.

• At least 3 years of experience process engineering within chemical manufacturing or biopharma

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

• Proficient in SAP systems with strong project management skills

• Capable of making quick decisions and responding efficiently to changing situations
