Our client, an MNC in the Construction/Engineering industry, are looking to set up their regional HQ in Singapore. This position will serve as part of the regional team and hands-on work will be expected.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements in the area of construction matters.

• Provide contractual advisory to ensure compliance with contract obligations and procedures.

• Manage and mitigate legal risks and ensure that significant issues are recognised and addressed.

• Design and implement company policies and procedures on a regional basis

• Liaising and collaborating effectively with other departments.

• Resolve disputes on contractual matters amicably with the relevant internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• LLB required

• At least 7 years of experience, particularly in contractual matters or in a construction or engineering MNC

• Well versed in local regulations and compliances. Regional experience will be a bonus

• Possess strong personal & negotiation skills and leadership qualities

• Good experience in handling construction disputes
