JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise and review electrical design work, ensuring adherence to specifications, safety, and technical standards.

• Oversee projects from FEED through to design, testing, and handover.

• Assess and liaise on client and third-party design requirements.

• Integrate design elements with other disciplines in the project team.

• Apply digital design methodologies and lead multidisciplinary design efforts.

• Develop and review technical documentation, including specifications and control philosophies.

• Design instrumentation, PLC, and SCADA systems, including motor control and fieldbus networks.

• Produce cost-effective design layouts and ensure compliance with standards and safety regulations.

• Provide estimates for proposals and support departmental procedures and development.

• Address and resolve technical issues on-site as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.

• Around 5 years of experience in instrumentation, control, and automation design, preferably with contractor experience.

• Experience with water and sewage treatment projects is essential.

• Strong ability to design cost-effective solutions and present technical proposals.

• Independent, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
