The Role

• Lead backend development initiatives for a cutting-edge skills assessment platform
• Design and implement scalable backend features using Scala
• Drive technical architecture decisions and system improvements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Ensure platform stability and performance through proactive monitoring and maintenance

Your Skills

• Experience in backend development with JVM-based languages
• Strong foundation in REST API development and distributed systems
• Demonstrated expertise in functional programming concepts and asynchronous programming
• Solid experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL
• Proficiency in writing comprehensive automated test suites
• Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Track record of delivering high-quality, production-grade code
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
