The Role

• Lead Financial Planning & Forecasting: Oversee the annual budgeting process and manage regular financial forecasts to align with business objectives.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present key financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and variance analysis to senior management.
• Cost Management: Analyze and manage operational costs, recommending strategies for cost optimization and efficiency improvements.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business decisions.
• Financial Modeling & Decision Support: Build financial models to assess the impact of new projects, investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Ad-hoc Analysis & Special Projects: Prepare custom financial reports and support business initiatives or special projects.
• Compliance & Internal Controls: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and internal controls, and support audit processes.
• Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor the FP&A team, fostering a high-performance culture and supporting professional development.

Your Skills

• Minimum 5 years experience in financial planning and analysis role.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in both Japanese and English conversation.
• Experience working with both regional and local teams will be an added advantage
