• Following strong growth and a solid project pipeline, a leading NYSE-listed North American group with dominant industry positioning, is hiring a strategic talent to join its Japan-based.
• The role sits in a high-impact team leveraging extensive data resources and strategic expertise to drive initiatives across strategy development for maximizing product performance (customer acquisition, retention, loyalty), new product launches/GTM, customer journey optimization, new technologies (AI) along with other strategic marketing initiatives, all in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and partners.
• The position offers unique exposure to a high-performance environment within a diverse team (50% non-Japanese, including senior leadership and CXOs), known for its positive culture and commitment to sustainable work-life balance (finish around 6:00-7:00pm).

The Role

• Be part of an elite team of high-performing strategy professionals coming from some of the top firms on the market
• Lead projects and strategic initiatives ー working closely with external and internal stakeholders, including clients and partners, and activate internal capabilities (e.g., Data Science, Product Marketing, BD and others) to leverage date assets and resources effectively.
• Develop and present customized solutions ー with particular focus on areas including product performance maximization (e.g. customer acquisition, retention, loyalty), new product launches, customer journey optimization, new technologies/AI and other data-driven strategic marketing initiatives.
• Build strong relationships with major clients and partners, identifying trends and scooping out market opportunities for further growth.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative, high-performance team environment.

Your Skills

• At least 5 years' experience in Strategy Consulting at a Top-Tier global firm [<>]
• A mix of Strategy Consulting and Corporate/IBD/PE experience can also be considered
• Strong performer with the ability to excel in a matrixed environment
• Collaborative team player with a positive, constructive attitude
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent in Japanese (JLPT N1) and at least business-level English
