It was originally developed to facilitate communication with clients and create a more comfortable working environment for ourselves when we were in the business of contracted development. It is a project management tool that supports the work of many people.

②Service for easy creation and sharing of graphics
Share your mind with each other in real time while using figures.
This service makes it easy to create and share figures on a web browser.
Since its launch in 2009, this service has been used by many users. The service is used not only in Japan, but also in Colombia, the U.S., France, Taiwan, and other countries, making it a global service with about 90% of its users outside Japan.

③Business Chat Tool
A business chat tool that turns chats into ideas. It is designed to make communication between team members more enjoyable and smooth, and by using it in conjunction with Backlog, work can proceed more smoothly by separating the tools for "flowing conversations" and "tasks to be kept in check".

④Services to enhance security and governance
Enhance security and governance when using the company's services.
It provides integrated account management with managed accounts, single sign-on with SAML authentication, and audit logs to record the operations of members of your organization.

【Job Description】 

This position is for a team responsible for improving and operating the project management tool "Backlog".
The company is looking for more members to help evolve the service, which has already been in operation for more than 15 years.

〔Fully remote work】.
People living outside Fukuoka, Kyoto or Tokyo who cannot commute to our offices are also encouraged to apply.


Currently, Backlog teams are divided by function. Some teams are recruiting and some are not, and they will decide which team to assign you to through the selection process.

■Responsibilities
You will be involved from planning to development of customer requests regarding Backlog issue functions.
Although the main focus is on the server side, you will also be entrusted with front-end development.

■Development Environment
Front-end: React / TypeScript / Haxe / jQuery
Backend: Scala (Play Framework) / Perl / MySQL / Redis
Infrastructure: AWS
Development tools: Git / Jenkins

■Leave and Vacations

■Paid leave
・10 days are granted when the employee joins the company.

■Required
・Experience in backend/frontend development
　*The "Technical Assignment" included in the selection process will be a development theme using one of the following languages: Java (Kotlin) / Scala / Python / Go (no prior work experience using these languages is required).
　*Even if you do not have experience in any of the above development environments, we welcome those who are good at catching up and have the desire to do so.
・Enjoy working with team members in a collaborative environment.
・Ability to abstract things and to see things in a logical way.

■Preferred
・Experience in front-end development using React, etc.
・Experience developing with Play Framework
・Experience as a leader in a development team
