QA Engineer - Global Fintech firm

Randstad is partnered with a global Fintech Firm in their search for an experienced QA engineer. Through this role you will join the firm's core application engineering department and support them with their QA processes, which are at the core of their practice in a test driven development environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and strategies to ensure software quality, collaborating with stakeholders to define acceptance and functional testing criteria.
• Design and implement automated testing frameworks, creating and maintaining automated test scripts to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
• Work closely with developers to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD process, ensuring continuous testing and timely feedback for software improvements.
• Conduct non-functional testing, including load testing, disaster recovery testing, and other performance-related evaluations to ensure system stability and reliability.
• Ensure ongoing quality assurance by identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.

Must-have

• A minimum of 3 years of experience working with scripting languages such as Python, Node.js, or PHP.
• At least 3 years of experience in software quality assurance, including test plan development, testing strategies, and execution.
• Proven experience in designing and implementing automated testing frameworks and writing automated test scripts.
• Skilled in developing test strategies and collaborating with stakeholders to create comprehensive test plans for acceptance and functional testing.
• Experience partnering with developers to integrate automated tests within the CI/CD pipeline for seamless and efficient delivery.
• Familiarity with non-functional testing, including performance testing, load testing, and disaster recovery testing.

Preferred but not mandatory

• Development experience with multiple programming languages
• Some knowledge of or experience with software development practices.
• Experience in the Fin-Tech or Financial industries.
