An international financial services organisation is searching for an Accounting Consultant. The chosen applicant will be responsible for understanding local JGAAP requirement to onboard clients new to the Japan market.

Responsibilities:

• Collect necessary documentation and client information for effective onboarding process initiation
• Align internal standard processes with client requirements
• Organise collected information for transition to the ongoing team for daily operations
• Manage and communicating with clients and partners located globally
• Provide support to the ongoing team as necessary
• Identify potential risks, recommend solutions, and report to supervisors
• Gather feedback from clients during and after the onboarding process for continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above in business, finance, or accountancy
• 3-4 years of work experience in a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting and finance principles
• Proficient in MS Office 365
• Excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamic Navision, SAP, Xero and Oracle, and online banking platforms is advantageous
• Business level English; proficient in Japanese is a plus
