Solutions Architect - [MaaS start-up | 1st hire in Japan]

A fast-growing Mobility-as-a-Service "MaaS" start-up is entering Japan in light of a new customer acquisition. The company is set to transform the transportation industry, by deploying an on-demand platform leveraging the most advanced machine-learning models now being introduced to the Japanese market.

The Role

• The Solutions Architect will lead complex implementations from gathering customer requirements, platform implementation and integration, and be responsible for high-quality service delivery
• Lead internal R&D and product teams through execution and delivery
• Guide customer teams on best practices of platform implementation
• Run on-site kick-offs, demonstrations, and onboarding sessions
• Help build new product features (in collaboration with R&D teams) by analyzing and understanding customer feedback

Your Skills

• 7+ years of experience in technical and customer-facing environments as a Solutions Architect, Implementation Consultant, Solutions Engineer or Technical Account Manager
• Experience in leading complex software (SaaS) deployments to enterprise-level customers
• Strong technical aptitude, with hands-on experience with REST APIs, and SQL
• Japanese (Fluent level) / English (Fluent level)
• Most live within commuting distance of Tokyo
• High integrity, responsible mindset to communicate efficiently between Japanese customers/partners and Head Office
