• Our client is a Japanese tech start-up firm with operations globally. 50% of their employees are non-Japanese nationals.

The Role

• Evaluating monthly financial reports
• Managing quarterly and year-end closing activities
• Conducting profit and loss analysis and generating monthly financial summaries
• Developing and refining financial procedures
• Leading the digital transformation of accounting practices
• Coordinating with external auditors
• Preparing documents for public disclosures
• Overseeing tax filing processes in collaboration with tax advisors
• Establishing and maintaining internal controls and related documentation
• Performing additional tasks related to accounting and internal controls

Your Skills

• 3+ years of annual accounting closing experience from any industry
• Full working proficiency in Japanese, and conversational English (or above)
