• Our client is the leading manufacturer in their area. In Japan, they employ over 1,000 employees with good work life balance and low turnover. They are looking for Treasury Accountant to help managing the cash flow of the company

The Role

• Monitor and manage daily cash flow, ensuring optimal liquidity for operational needs and strategic investments.
• Reconcile bank statements with internal records to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyze cash flow forecasts to predict future cash requirements and identify potential funding needs.
• Assist in managing banking relationships, optimizing cash positions, and ensuring compliance with treasury policies.
• Record and review treasury-related journal entries and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
• Support the management of short-term investments and ensure alignment with investment policies and risk tolerance.
• Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits related to treasury activities.
• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports on cash positions, banking activities, and other treasury-related metrics.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to treasury functions.

Your Skills

• 3 years' experience in accounting related position
• Fluent in Japanese and conversational level English
• Good team work and communication skills
