Responsibilities:
Financial Planning and Analysis:

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's business objectives.
  • Prepare and analyse financial reports, forecasts, and budgets.
  • Monitor and report on financial performance, including variance analysis.

Accounting Management:

  • Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate financial records.
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.

Internal Controls and Compliance:

  • Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
  • Coordinate and manage external audits and tax filings.

Cost Control and Revenue Management:

  • Monitor and control operational costs to maximise profitability.
  • Work with the management team to optimise pricing strategies and revenue streams.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.

Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Manage the preparation of reports for investors, lenders, and regulatory authorities.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, ensuring high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and transparency within the finance department.

Strategic Planning:

  • Contribute to the development of the company's long-term strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align financial planning with business operations.
  • Assist in evaluating new business opportunities and investments.

Technology and Systems:

  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of financial management systems.
  • Ensure that technology is effectively used to streamline financial processes and reporting.

Requirements:

  • Degree/Certificates in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the hospitality or property management industry.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in financial software.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on results.
