■This Role
We are looking for an IT Manager who will be mainly responsible for monitoring operations, system planning and management, and internal infrastructure in our Japan office.

This role will partner with global technology teams in the design and architecture of a best in-class trading experience. The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced, technology forward company leveraging bleeding edge technologies that sets ThinkMarkets apart from its’ competitors. 

■Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize the technology systems and infrastructure
• Monitor trading activities
• Ensure the availability and performance of IT services for the Japanese market, oversight of regionally dedicated systems
• Manage relationships with IT vendors and partners to maximize service quality and value
• Work with development, programming, planning, and production team to ensure products and functions are delivered as expected
• Assess risks based on the information assets held by the system and its utilization

■Requirements

• Must be fluent in both English and Japanese in written and spoken
• Experience in Systems Engineering, Application Development, or IT Service Management
• Basic knowledge of Trading Platforms, Latency Optimizations, FIX Protocol and Trading Technologies
• Basic knowledge of infrastructure, database, and network

■Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a management role
• IT-related experience in the financial industry
• Experience managing IT hardware, software, and service vendors
• Experience managing back office and client-facing systems, including mobile, web, and desktop clients
• Experience in evaluating systems based on information security and cyber security standards
• Qualifications and practical experience in managing network configurations and operating actual systems

3-month probationary period / Conditions remain the same during the probationary period

9:00-18:00 (including 1 hour break)

■Salary

• Estimated monthly salary: 600,000 JPY - 750,000 JPY (Determined in consideration of experience, etc.)
• Estimated annual salary: 7.2 to 9 million JPY
• Bonus: No bonus in principle / Depends on performance
• Overtime allowance: Paid separately
• Commuting allowance: Paid separately (up to 30,000 JPY/month in principle)
• Other: Salary raise once a year based on performance
