A global electronic appliances manufacturer is seeking an International Logistics Assistant Manager. The selected candidate will oversee shipping schedules, manage forwarders, handle customs clearance, and optimise logistics performance metrics.

Responsibilities:
- Manage shipping schedules between international countries
- Oversee forwarder relationships and logistics for customs clearance
- Ensure compliance with food contact regulations and manage test requirements and historical data
- Implement positive list management and cost allocation
- Plan and optimise shipping lead times and damage rates
- Prepare and present reports on logistics performance
Requirements:
- More than 5 years of experience in Import/Export operations including Quarantine
- Experience with ocean shipments and tangible finished products is preferred
- Knowledge of logistics and warehouse management is advantageous
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Native level Japanese; business level English
