Job Description:

■Mission

In order to achieve sustainable growth of our businesses such as point cards, Edy, and Pay, we will develop new solutions for existing businesses and new businesses by combining our customer IDs' purchase data, payment data, and online data with technology.

He will also plan, develop, and operate a style of using data and technology to improve the marketing consulting skills and speed of the Company's employees.

The latter is specifically responsible for the development of analytical systems, predictive models, and other data environments necessary for consulting.

■Department Introduction/Organizational Structure

In order to accomplish its mission, this department often plans new solutions and services while finding synergies not only with Rakuten Payments, but also with other businesses in the group.
Therefore, the department understands the Payment Company's strategy and the Group's strategy, and approaches the three-way solution with the customer at the center, from both the business and data sides.

The team consists of data scientists, data analysts, and business and service planning members. The two groups are the Market Innovation Group, which creates new services for the market, and the Process Innovation Group, which creates tools and environments to increase employee productivity. Each group has a mix of scientists, analysts, and business planners.

Job Description

- Developing new solutions by combining technology with offline purchase data (including SKUs) and payment data associated with member IDs and the Group's online data.

- In addition to data visualization, support business problem solving and strategic planning from the data side by building future forecast models, etc.

■Requirements

- At least 3 years of experience as a data analyst or data scientist (5 years preferred)

└ Must have Python ,BigQuery (SQL) and statistical knowledge

- Strong communication skills and ambition are welcome

- TOEIC score of 800 or above or equivalent within 2 years as main motivation.
