Bilingual Engineering Manager

Company Profile

A solid and well-known fintech firm in Tokyo, Japan is hiring for a Bilingual Engineering Manager with an Agile/ scrum approach, and strong with designing, developing, and operating cloud infrastructure & microservices for Saas Platform.

The Role

• As Engineering manager will be in charge of designing and implementing short-term responses and continuous growth of the organization.
• Supervise the development project of the services offered and is accountable for delivery, quality, and pricing.
• Previously worked as an engineering manager utilizing the Agile/scrum approach.
• Review the yearly roadmap offered by the business-side PdM and how to plan suitable team development.
• Design policy guidance for the product in charge
• Elimination of technical debt and the establishment of priorities and cost investments

Your Skills

• Experience in managing an organization of 10 or more engineers
• Approximately 5 years or more as an engineer or substantial web service development experience
• English-higher level and business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N2 or higher)
• Experience in Tech Lead/Engineer Management in a development organization with dozens of people
• Practical experience in designing, developing, and operating cloud infrastructure & microservices.
