Accounting Manager - Japan-based Software Company

Company Profile

Our client is a Japan-based SaaS start-up company with operations in Japan and Singapore, and plan to expand to a wider geographical coverage.

The Role

• Manage accounting team members
• Review journal entries
• Review trial balances
• Oversee financial closing activities (monthly, quarterly, and annual)
• Approve and review cash management, transfers, and expense reimbursements
• Support tax filings (prepared by external tax advisors) with monthly support and review
• Handle audit responses (annual financial statements), prepare financial statements, and business reports
• Improve and build business workflows (considering changes to the accounting system due to business expansion)
• Address inquiries from business units
• Review overseas financial statements (conduct monthly reviews of local accounting consulting at various locations)
• Coordinate with local accounting firms

Your Skills

• 5+ years of accounting experience (with minimum 3 years at listed companies)
• Full proficiency in Japanese, with business-level English

7M - 8.5M JPY
