Japanese Speaking Interpreter & Marketing Executive 

Our client is a leading fitness-related company that originated in Japan and has expanded to over 200 stores worldwide. The company is renowned for its cutting-edge technology, which is highly regarded by athletes. In the near future, the company plans to open numerous new stores across Malaysia.

Responsibilities:

• Provide interpretation in Japanese, English, and Malay
• Assist with marketing activities during times when interpretation is not needed

Position Details:

• Role: Interpreter and Marketing Assistant
• Languages Required: Japanese, English, Malay
  • Japanese proficiency at N1 level or equivalent experience to perform interpretation duties
• Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
• Work Schedule:
  • Primarily follows the Malaysian calendar
  • Weekend work may be required as needed
• Travel: Occasional business trips to Japan and Singapore

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Japanese at N1 level or equivalent
• Fluent in English and Malay
• Experience in interpretation and a keen interest in marketing
• Willingness to travel and work weekends when necessary

Preferred Qualifications:

• No prior interpretation experience required
• Strong communication skills
• Interest in fitness
