Position summary:
Engineering leader with the scope to create designs with global team for high quality and
competitive products to meet customer expectations and Connection Systems global targets.
Manage the ACS Japan engineering team.
Main responsibilities and expected results:
Lead the pre selection of programs
Lead the definition of the right design concept by using established engineering methods
Ensure engineering team follows the Product Development Process and other procedures
in line with the Quality Manual
Review project and ensure project development milestones are achieved
Manage technical assistance internally （sales and other depts.） and externally （customers
suppliers ...）
Ensure/Review functional analysis and release programs/parts prior to be launched in serial
production
Develop relationship and intimacy with customer engineers/managers located in Japan
Present competitive technology insight concerning Japanese market.
Present relevant information to other team for new product development
Present and demonstrate how Aptiv product will meet client needs; Professionally represent
Aptiv in all circumstances
Ensure engineering team in Japan is performing at high standards

Education and skills required:
Engineering degree
Advanced English Communication Skill （Reading Writing Speaking）
Able to discuss technical issues in English

Experience required:
More than 5 years of experience in product engineering of automotive parts
Data Connectivity systems or automotive electronics product experience preferred
