Network Engineer

Company Profile

Our client is a global luxurious brand and especially famous for their diamond's jewelry.

Their IT team is supporting around 800 - 900 users which are not only located in their offices in Japan but also the physical stores (around 100 stores).

The Role

• Collaborate together with the IT Infra team and taking charge of the overall cooperate network
• Ensure network is running without problems through monitoring tools
• Support in the network planning, design and implementation for new store openings
• Ensure that performance and uptime of the production systems and technology align to business and user need.
• Collaborate with other IT groups cross functionally to align efforts, share best practices and maintain standards.
• Define, analyse, support, test and administer complex business and/or information technology that meets department requirements
• Implementation, deployment and maintenance of hardware and software
• Coordinates vendors, departments/malls, installs and support technology

Your Skills

• Fluency in Japanese to coordinate with vendors and inform internal stakeholders
• Communication and presentation skills in English is preferred
• Hands on experience of installing circuit and network devices
• Sound knowledge and experience of routing and switching
• CCNA as a plus
• Experience of setting up enterprise network for retail is preferred
