Sr. Accountant - Manufacturing Company

Our client is an NYSE listed electronic device manufacturer with significant operations in Japan.

The Role

Under the guidance of the manager, you will be responsible for one or more of the following tasks:

• Accounts payable and accrual management (matching purchase orders, delivery notes, and invoices, payment management, expense reimbursement checks, etc.)
• Accounts receivable management (verifying and reconciling invoices and payment amounts, etc.)
• Fixed asset ledger management
• Monthly and annual financial closing (preparing account balance details, etc.)
• Assisting with balance sheet and profit & loss statement preparation
• Supporting report creation for various US headquarters
• Assisting with tax audits and company law audits
• Creating internal control compliance documents
• Managing cash flow and processing payments via bank web systems
• Supporting the SAP implementation project for the FICO module (2024-2025)
• Other related or incidental duties

Your Skills

• 3+ years of accounting experience, ideally from manufacturing or tangible products
• Full working proficiency in both Japanese & English
