Revenue Accounting Manager - Global Medical Company

Company Profile

Our client is a leading global medical device company with good reputation in the market. Business very stable in Japan with over 2000 employees. Currently they are looking for Revenue Accounting Manager. They offer 4 days working from home.

The Role

• Manage and oversee the company's revenue recognition process in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
• Review and analyze sales contracts to ensure accurate revenue recognition and compliance with contractual terms.
• Work closely with Sales and Legal teams to structure contracts that optimize revenue recognition while mitigating risk.
• Collaborate with Finance to prepare revenue forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis.
• Develop and implement revenue recognition policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments of revenue transactions to ensure compliance and integrity of financial data.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and accounting standards related to revenue recognition and implement necessary changes.
• Prepare and present revenue-related reports and analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and training to finance and sales teams on revenue recognition principles and best practices.

Your Skills

• Min 5 years experience in finance and accounting position with a global company.
• USCPA certified is highly preferable.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent Japanese and business level English
