This position involves supporting Global Shared Services in processing payments, managing vendor registrations, and handling various administrative tasks while ensuring accuracy and efficiency. You will need proficiency in financial software, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills in both Japanese and English.

Description

Responsibilities:

  • Support GSS in the processing and payment of Trade and non-Trade providers by ensuring that invoices are sent/scanned to GSS in a timely manner and coded correctly.
  • Ensure that provider invoices are paid in line with their credit terms by tracking the status of the invoices.
  • Review payment runs twice monthly, on the 15th and 25th of the month, to ensure completeness of payments.
  • Coordinate, resolve, and respond to provider and customer queries related to billings and payments received either by email or telephone.
  • Act as a point of contact for GSS.
  • Manage the vendor registration process, including bank details.
  • Communicate with the bank on payment and receipt queries, if required.
  • Provide overall assistance to the Financial Control Manager, finance colleagues, and GSS.
  • Support with any ad hoc administrative and accounting tasks.

スキル・資格

Required Skills and Knowledge:

  • Experience in a multi-cultural and fast-paced environment (ideal but not essential).
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Highly proficient IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.

Required Competencies:

  • ERP and financial management software experience. SUN or Cognos experience is an advantage.
