Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations department workflow and problem-solving
• Maximise business relations for financial and service benefits
• Analyse job reports to minimise loss-making shipments
• Ensure compliance with company agreements
• Recruit qualified staff for operational roles
• Lead and support team development and growth
• Conduct regular root cause analysis for preventive measures
• Motivate team with updated goals and directions
• Maintain customer commitments while driving company growth
• Train operations team on market info, regulations, and company policies

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above
• Understanding of local and international freight services and customs policies
• Knowledge of industry standard programs
• Experience in sales-related role is a plus
• Prior experience managing special shipment (reefer, DG, contract or project logistic, etc., is preferred)
• Excellent negotiation skills is ideal
• Proficient in spoken and written English (Japanese is advantageous)
