Responsibilities:

• Verify and correspond on monthly financial reports
• Review balance sheet reconciliations
• Manage cash flow and liaise with financial institutions
• Analyse inventory and make necessary accruals
• Review monthly accruals from departments
• Ensure compliance with tax and commercial regulations
• Implement new tax and accounting regulations promptly
• Maintain SOX compliance across business cycles
• Identify and execute process improvement initiatives
• Supervise local accounting team

Requirements:

• 8-10 years of accounting experience
• Experience in SAP
• Understanding of IFRS
• Prior experience in retail business (stock, contracts, cash collection, etc.)
• Native level Japanese; fluent level English
