The Role

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy that aligns with business goals.
• Collaborate with business leaders to identify and deliver data-driven growth opportunities.
• Foster a data-driven culture supporting decision-making and business impact.
• Define and manage the enterprise data management strategy.
• Ensure data is treated as a strategic asset and maintain the quality of critical data.
• Update and enforce the Data and AI Governance framework, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee data and AI initiatives in compliance with industry regulations, including data privacy and security.
• Develop and implement a data and AI literacy program for employees.
• Build and manage a high-performing data team.

Your Skills

• Strong leadership skills with experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex data concepts to non-technical audiences in English and Japanese.
• Proven track record in leading data and AI initiatives and executing data strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Expertise in analytics tools such as Python, SQL, and Hadoop.
• Experience in building and validating data models.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree is preferred.
• Deep understanding of data management technologies and AI-related technologies.
• Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations.
